ABOUT MARIA F. LEÓN

Maria F. León brings a 14-year track record of production expertise in broadcast television, marketing videos, award winning documentaries and feature films from top studios like Independent Television Service, Lionsgate Films, Paramount pictures and Annapurna. She has produced commercials for national and international campaigns for clients like Dockers, Ancestry.com, Adobe Inc. and dozens more.

Maria received her BA in Cinema Arts and is currently working towards a MA in Creative Writing. She has impeccable organization skills and a joyful, creative disposition towards production. She is a passionate storyteller with published written works by the East Bay Express and NPR. Most importantly, Maria believes in diversity and inclusion. She prioritizes those values in her storytelling and through the hiring of diverse talent and inclusive crews.
